Matthew is the founder and visionary behind Whiskey Consensus. What began as a project to explore Instagram and share a love for whiskey has evolved into one of the most-followed independent whiskey review platforms in the US. Professionally, Matthew works in digital marketing as a solutions engineer and sales leader. Outside of work, he is an avid runner and a car and watch enthusiast, and is deeply committed to giving back through volunteer work.

Some of his favorite things to do are review different whiskies, go on barrel picks, and learn from the masters of the craft while at the distilleries. Outside of the whiskey world, Jake is an EMT and aspiring Flight Nurse Practitioner.
Courtney found her passion for bourbon while sampling her way through her husband's collection. She quickly learned what she liked and was determined to try as many different bourbons as she can. Courtney loves visiting distilleries and learning the history behind the brands, and also captures the beauty of bourbon culture through her photography.
Landon is a whiskey enthusiast who enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion with others. He holds a doctoral degree in leadership, is a registered respiratory therapist, and serves as a clinical educator and adjunct professor at several universities. His academic approach brings depth and discipline to every review.
A Tallahassee-based lawyer and whiskey enthusiast with an unwavering love for bourbon and rye. Luke is an avid bourbon hunter who never passes up an opportunity to search for and discuss a great bottle. When he's not in the courtroom, you'll find him admiring his collection and enjoying time with his wife, son, and four dogs.
Based in New Zealand with a fixation on Scotch whisky, single malts, cigars, and pork. A naturally obsessive person, Henward has gone deep into the world of independently bottled Scotch and off-the-beaten-path bottlings. His choices are about experiences. Outside whisky and cigars, Henward owns and operates a social media management company with his wife in NZ.
Cameron is a whiskey enthusiast who loves the chase of a good bottle as much as the bottle itself. While finishing his Master's degree in Education in North Carolina, Cameron learned the joys of hosting whiskey tastings. Since then, helping friends learn more about whiskey, its history, and current industry innovations has become a true passion.
Sean is a cigar and whisk(e)y enthusiast. After finding his love for bourbon, scotch, and the tales behind the pours, he discovered cigars — and quickly realized all the nuance and story he loves about whiskey can be found in premium cigars too.
Luther is a family man first with a passion for whiskey, cigars, and firearms. As an active duty service member, he takes pride in giving back — raising awareness for veteran suicide prevention through The Green Beret Foundation's #AndysFund.
Tiffany is a classically trained chef who has lived and trained around the world. Her passion for whiskey started early and predominantly with Rye. As time has progressed she committed herself to learning from multiple experts in the whiskey industry. She is also a wife, mother of three, avid outdoorsman, Patriot, and East Coast Operations Manager for SpecialOpsXcursions.
