A little background
Rebel Single Barrel Bourbon Selected by Kyle Busch is a limited-edition release from Rebel Bourbon, produced in Bardstown, Kentucky. This single barrel bourbon, specifically from Barrel No. 336493, follows the brand’s original wheated mash bill recipe dating back to 1849, with each barrel aged for four years and personally selected by NASCAR driver Kyle Busch alongside Master Distiller John Rempe. Bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV), it is available in a nationwide allocation of 5,000 cases, with a suggested retail price of $39.99 per 750mL bottle. Each bottle features a unique barrel number, proof details, aging date, Busch’s signature, his racing number, and the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) logo.
Rebel Bourbon serves as the Official Bourbon of Richard Childress Racing, and this collaboration extends the sponsorship through a special edition that highlights the partnership. As part of Luxco—now operating as the Brands Division of MGP Ingredients—the brand produces a range of spirits from multiple distilleries. This release is designed for collectors and fans of the brand, Busch, and RCR, with bottles available through retailers nationwide.

In closing
Rebel Single Barrel Bourbon Selected by Kyle Busch delivers a solid, approachable whiskey that punches above its $40 price point with a smooth, wheated profile and vibrant notes of caramel, cherry, and cinnamon. Its creamy palate and balanced warmth make it a versatile sipper, perfect for casual enjoyment or simple cocktails, while the fruity-spicy character adds a fun twist that sets it apart from standard Rebel offerings. However, its youthful four-year age and straightforward flavor profile leave it wanting for depth compared to more complex single barrels, and the limited 30,000-bottle run can make it tough to track down. For fans of Busch, RCR, or those seeking an affordable, crowd-pleasing bourbon, this is a worthy pickup that delivers quality and character.
