Established in 2016, Stoll & Wolfe Distillery was founded by Dick Stoll, Avianna Wolfe, and Erik Wolfe as a continuation of Pennsylvania’s longstanding whiskey-making tradition. Based in Lititz, Pennsylvania, the distillery draws from the state’s deep distilling heritage dating back to the 1700s. Dick Stoll, formerly of the historic Pennsylvania Michter’s Distillery and a protégé of C. Everett Beam, helped shape the distillery’s focus on craftsmanship, local ingredients, and respect for regional methods. Stoll & Wolfe continues to produce small-batch whiskeys that celebrate the state’s history while contributing to its ongoing legacy.

In closing
Stoll & Wolfe Straight American Whiskeys Blend delivers a pleasant balance of sweet and spice, showcasing honeyed grain, caramel, and stone fruit notes accented by a gentle rye-driven warmth. The interplay between the bourbon’s sweetness and the rye’s peppery character creates an approachable and well-rounded pour that reflects the distillery’s Pennsylvania roots. While the whiskey leans toward the lighter, younger side and lacks deep complexity, it offers an easy-drinking profile that’s both versatile and satisfying. For those interested in exploring a thoughtfully blended American whiskey with a nod to tradition, this release represents a solid entry point into the Stoll & Wolfe lineup.
