The Rye and Spire is composed of an exceptional rye mash bill that was masterfully distilled and aged in charred new American oak barrels. When this rye is bottles, a charred oak spire is placed in the bottled to enhance complexity and flavor. This spirit is bottled at 90 proof and MSRP is set a approximately $49.99.

Toasted oak, rye spice, and smoked vanilla notes are prominent on the nose.

Palate

The first sip is thin and spicy. Vanilla, oak, and rye spice notes are prominent. The second sip begins with an oak bitterness that transitions into spice and black pepper notes. The third sip is a combination of the tasting notes above with faint hints of liquid bandage.

Finish

The finish is short and spicy. Bitter oak, vanilla, rye spice, and faint hints of dill are present.
