The spirit is derived from hand-selected barrels of fully matured US 1 Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey which is finished in a new uncharred toasted barrel. The unique filtering process used by Michter’s combined with the secondary toasted barrel finish produce a unique and limited product. The average proof is 108, however the spirit reviewed below was bottled at 109.8 proof. The MSRP is approximately $69-$79 but can be found on the secondary market for more than double MRSP.
