Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select Barrel Proof WC15

A little background

The Whiskey Consensus barrel pick team had the privilege of selecting Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select Barrel Proof WC15 at the historic Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The experience began with a tour of the distillery, which has been in operation for over 150 years. Officially registered in 1866, the Jack Daniel Distillery holds the distinction of being the first registered distillery in the United States.

Following the tour, our team joined Clint in the barrel house for the selection process. After several rounds of blind tastings, we unanimously chose a barrel that stood out among the rest. With our selection made, we strolled into town to enjoy an incredible Southern meal at Miss Mary Bobo’s.

The entire barrel pick experience was outstanding, easily ranking among the best we’ve ever had. Not only did we secure an exceptional barrel of whiskey to share with all of you, but we were also treated to a day filled with stories, laughter, and genuine Southern hospitality—memories that will last a lifetime.
