Ben Holladay Bottled in Bond Missouri Straight Bourbon Feature

A Little Background

Founded in 1856, The Holladay Distillery is both the oldest distillery in the state of Missouri and the oldest distillery west of the Mississippi still operating on its original site. The distillery sits on an active limestone springs that according to the brand, was first charted by Lewis and Clark in 1804, more than fifty years before Ben Holladay purchased the land. Crafted from the same mash bill that was developed by Ben Holladay in 1856, this Bourbon is Six-Years-old and bottled-in-bond. Ben Holladay Bourbon is aged in a level three, charred, Missouri white oak barrel and is non-chill filtered. This bourbon carries an MSRP of $60 USD

In closing

I found Ben Holladay BiB Missouri Straight Bourbon to be quite enjoyable. I went into this without knowing what exactly to expect, as I hadn’t heard a whole lot about the brand. To my surprise, this is one of the most exciting bottles I’ve tried this year. I absolutely love that the Holladay Distillery is still utilizing a mash bill that’s been in use for almost 170 years! The flavor profile is fantastic and is something I feel most would appreciate. Ben Holladay BiB Missouri Straight Bourbon gets two thumbs up from me!
