Color

Yellow Gold

Nose

The nose is filled with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toast. Very light notes of honey become present upon a heavier nosing. A slight oak spice is noticed, but very much in the background.

Palate

The mouthfeel is thin. The flavors are nice, but not very deep. Notes of orange peel, honey, caramel, and oak spice reveal themselves on the mid palate, while there is a little tingle on the back palate from the oak spice.

Finish

The finish is short with notes of honey, citrus, and oak spice lingering on the back palate. The mid and front palate remain nearly untouched after the whiskey is swallowed.

In closing

I found this whiskey to be pretty darn enjoyable and a great example of craft whiskey can be, plus it’s USDA-certified Organic! It has pleasant flavors and is very easy to drink. I enjoyed giving this whiskey a try and think it’s great seeing companies venture outside the box and create things like USDA-ceertified Organic whiskey!
