Color

Gold

Nose

Orange citrus cream, peaches, cereal, sea salt, baking spices, and a light floral note.

Palate

Simple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and buttered popcorn. The palate has an overall Cracker Jacks quality to it that’s pleasantly oily and rich.

Finish

The finish is medium in length and leaves the mouth coated in sweet malty notes with just a touch of smoke and char.

In closing

Overall, Sneaky Peat Blended Malt Scotch is a very enjoyable blended scotch that’s offered at a very reasonable price. The nose stood out the most with thick rich notes of sweet citrus cream and peaches. The palate and finish are quite enjoyable as well with more sweet notes of malty cereal, Cracker Jacks , and a hint of smoke. Sneaky Peat was an unexpected surprise that I found to be quite enjoyable, especially at the fair price pf $50 bucks.
