A Little Background

Old Swagger 12 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon is the debut release from Rising Tide Spirits, founded by bourbon veteran Ed Bley—known for selecting and blending over 250 private barrels before launching the brand. This inaugural expression adheres to the Bottled in Bond Act standards, crafted from 12 barrels of 12-year-old MGP-sourced bourbon and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). With an MSRP of $175, the release reflects Bley’s focus on transparency, precision, and respect for the craft. The bourbon is presented in a handblown glass decanter featuring Rising Tide’s signature cardinal, making each bottle a distinctive piece of art in its own right.

The Old Swagger line embodies a philosophy rooted in experience and integrity—prioritizing quality over quantity, and releasing only when the whiskey and timing align. Every aspect, from the sourcing to the presentation, reflects Rising Tide Spirits’ commitment to producing whiskey that speaks for itself, without compromise.

In closing
