Nose

The nose is pleasant and pops with cinnamon and tree nuts. Faint hints of corn and vanilla are also present.

The finish is short to medium with notes of malted barley and wet cherry wood. Cinnamon and vanilla are also present.

In conclusion

The Old Bardstown Estate Bottled Bourbon Whiskey is a steal for the price. A unique complexity is present on the nose and palate. The nose is warm with cinnamon, nuts, and Christmas spice. A creamy texture coupled with notes of cinnamon and vanilla make this an easy sipper. The finish was short to medium, but not disappointing.
