A little background
Jack Daniel’s 14-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey (Batch 1) is a new release within the brand’s Aged Series, marking the first 14-year-old expression from Jack Daniel’s since the early- to mid-1900s. It is part of a series that also includes Jack Daniel’s 12-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey and 10-Year-Old. The 14-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey is offered at 126.3 proof (63.15% abv) and is made with Jack Daniel’s classic mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. It is distilled in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal. Jack Daniel’s 14 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey carries a retail price of $150 USD.
