A little background

The original Chicken Cock Distillery was established in 1856 in the small town of Paris, Kentucky, and rose to popularity during the 19th century. This bourbon whiskey was a staple spirit at several speakeasies during prohibition. The original distillery burned down in the 1950s but has recently been revitalized with a touch of modernization.

In the summer of 2018, Chicken Cock Whiskey, laid down a reserve of their esteemed Kentucky Straight Bourbon, foreseeing a future of exceptional flavor and quality. After a five-year maturation period, their master distiller, Gregg Snyder, meticulously handpicked a select few barrels to fashion a small batch offering that would captivate the senses. Gregg’s expertise guided the blending process, ensuring that each batch reached the pinnacle of perfection.

Chicken Cock Whiskey’s Small Batch Bourbon, born from this careful selection, serves as a testament to their unwavering dedication to taste and quality. Bottled at 100 Proof, Chicken Cock Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 5 years old and has a retail price of $70 USD.
