Michter’s roots trace back to 1753, and after its revival in the 1990s, the distillery cemented itself as a leader in premium bourbon, with its Fort Nelson Distillery opening in downtown Louisville in 2019. This limited-release single barrel bourbon is distilled and aged in Kentucky, matured for a full decade in carefully selected new charred American oak barrels. Bottled at 94.4 proof and priced around $195, the 2025 Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon remains one of the most sought-after annual releases in the bourbon world.
