Light Golden Amber

Nose

The nose is deep and rich with notes of oak, caramel, and vanilla.

Palate

The first sip has a medium viscosity that is accompanied by notes of cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, and oak. The second sip produced a concentrated heat in the front and mid-palate. Faint hints of banana were present. The third sip began with a burst of caramel, that transitioned to notes of honey and vanilla.

Finish

The finish was long and pleasant. Notes of caramel, oak, and vanilla were most prominent. Cinnamon and clove notes began to appear as the finish was fading.

In closing

1792 Single Barrel presents with a deep and rich nose. The palate is enveloped by a bold heat that is accompanied by notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and pleasant. This spirit is not overly complex; however, it is pleasant to drink. 1792 Single Barrel seems to sip higher than the proof. I would recommend trying before buying.
